1. What are IOMIC grips made of?

All IOMIC grips except X-Fusion are not made out of ordinary rubber. They are made with a specially formulated elastomer called “IOMAX”.  X-Fusion grips are made out of rubber with an original five-layer construction.

2. How long do IOMIC grips last?

It varies depending on how often you play and how hard you hold grips. However, they are highly resistant to UV rays. When all grips are new they all feel nice. After 15 to 20 rounds of golf, other rubber grips start getting hard and losing its traction. Not with IOMAX grips. All thru the life of the grips will feel the same. No matter you first round or the 20th round. Just clean them as needed and you can really feel like it was you first time.

3. Are IOMIC grips approved by the USGA?

Yes, all of our grips sold in the US are USGA approved.

4. Would the color fade on Iomic Grips?

The beautiful colors on Iomic Grips will not fade. Our grips will keep your glove and hand clean.

5. Can I remove and switch the colors of the end caps?

No, you cannot remove the end cap. It will damage the grips.

6. How can I clean my IOMIC grips?

IOMIC grips are very easy to clean. Just use dish soap and rinse with water and wipe them off with a cloth towel. For tough stains or more tacky feel, you can try using a volatile oil or acetone and wipe gently, but NOT FOR X-FUSION grips.
X-FUSION grips are made out of rubber. Dish soap and warm water work great to clean X-Fusion grips.

7. What should I do when my grips get wet?

IOMIC grips are highly waterproof, so they will perform under any weather conditions. Since they are waterproof, just wipe down the drips when they get wet and they will feel dry and tacky again.

8. Can I use solvent to install on IOMIC grips?

Yes, you can use solvent or mineral spirits on the grips.

9. What types of tape can I use for build up and how many rounds can I go?

You can use double-sided tape to install the grip. We recommend a maximum of 4 wraps for our Iron and Putter grips. Please have a Certified Club Fitter install your IOMIC grips.

10. Is there anything I should care when installing IOMIC Grips?

IOMAX used in IOMIC grips is very sensitive in certain areas, especially the butt cap area. Some shafts may have sharp edges that can damage the grip. Please tell your club fitter install with caution.
Unite grips are made with three loosely attached parts. The best way is to push from the very end of the grip so the end piece stays on. Then it is easy to line up straight. Again, please have a certified club fitter install your IOMIC grips.

11. What is the difference of sticky 1.8 and 2.3?

We measure the outer diameter of our grips 5cm from the grip end. The outer diameter of Sticky 1.8 is 21.8mm, Sticky 2.3 is 22.3mm, and Jumbo is 25.5cm.

12. Which grips should I choose?

It depends on what you are looking for. The X-Grip and Sticky 2.3 are similar to American standard-size grips. The X-Evolution has a thicker wall than the X-Grip. The Sticky 1.8 grip is lighter in weight and has a thinner wall than the X-Grip and Sticky 2.3.
